Do You Feel Like This At Work?

A man survives from 9 to 5.
Locked in a cubicle.
Barely alive.
He sits in the cage of the modern age,
Barely concealing claws of rage.

Thinking of freedom he had as a child:
Will he be let back into the wild?

He taps reports that nobody reads,
And parrots 'buzz phrases' that nobody needs.
The blandification of his oration
Leads to emotional alienation

Thinking of freedom he had as a child:
Will he be let back into the wild?

His body is sagging from underuse.
His mind is lagging from substance abuse,
Must squeeze from his brain the last drop of juice.
He tries to break free, but his bite is too loose.

And mp3s, and mobile phones.

Endless unpaid overtime,
Overlooked and undermined.

The bars are made of loss and fear.

So Good To Be Back!

Wow, where do I start? I've been on a life journey; seriously! I'm getting ready to move back to Florida after spending two and a half years in Michigan and lets say it hasn't been the best years of my life. I was attending college full time attempting to finish up my web design and development degree and to say I ran into some road bumps would be an understatement. But here's the truth, what doesn't kill you, will make you stronger. Anyway with the move back to Florida comes my re-dedication to the 4Life opportunity and lifestyle. I have been with 4Life Research on and off since 2006. I have had some successes and some failures, but one thing I do know is that it was not because of the company. This company is the real deal with incredible products and leadership. I have first hand witnesses some near miraculous testimonials and have experience a number of them myself.

Crossroads

Well, I am excited and anxious as I write this blog update. I recently hit a major milestone and goal in my life. I recieved my retirement orders from the Air Force, so now I am officially retired. I have been a 4Life distributor off and on for sometime. I am convinced that 4Life is the greatest opportunity I have encountered without being biased because of the fact that I have stepped away from it and been involved with many other ventures and opportunities. I wont mention them but being an serial entreprenuer and optimist I have made a run with quite a few only to realize I was wasting my time. Some were disasters and others just were'nt that interesting to me. I can say that the 4Life business is a perfect fit for me because of my love for holistic health and network marketing. It combines both aspects of wellness, because the products focus on the heart of our bodies' own defense, the immune system. Anyway, I am gonna start bloggin on here a lot more often and sharing a lot of the information I have picked up and learned.

I Am Back!

Hey folks. It's been a while since I blogged on here and it might seem like  I fell off of the face of the  Earth but I am still here, thank God. I recently returned from a military deployment overseas early due a tragic death in the family and it's seemed like everything just went down hill from there. I pretty much took my focus off my 4Life business and something was just missing. My sense of purpose, hunger and desire to live seemed to be quenched until I woke up with a vigor for life again and the desire to build my 4Life business. Not too long ago, International Diamond Solomon Butler visited the 4Life home office. Anyone who has met Solomon or heard him speak knows about the infectious power of his enthusiasm and passion for life... and 4Life! It was inspiring to hear about his belief in 4Life, our products, and our Together, Building People^® mission. During his visit, Solomon said something that made a big impression on us. He said, "I don't look for Diamonds. I look for Diamond-makers."

We think this statement encompasses the true meaning of leadership. It's about looking for the leadership potential in others. This type of attitude really goes together well with Together, Building People, because our goal isn't to just get people to follow us, but rather to recognize and foster in others their ability to lead as well. This kind of vision makes for long-term success in the network marketing industry. And, this kind of leadership not only identifies the leadership potential in others, but also recognizes that you must have the confidence and humility to not be threatened by that potential.
